A clear starting point

One document.
One agreed fee.

The NZ$1,500 introductory fee covers the defined review above. GST is additional if applicable. We confirm the document, scope and engagement terms before proceeding.

A defined document review does not certify legal compliance or replace an organisation-wide compliance audit.

Work outside the fixed fee

  • Additional documents or documents exceeding 15 pages
  • Translation or full document redrafting
  • An organisation-wide compliance audit
  • Practising-lawyer review

Any additional work must be separately agreed and priced.

Local knowledge. Wherever you are based.

Built around New Zealand employment.

The review focuses on New Zealand employment documentation. Tell us about your organisation and how the document will be used.

  • New Zealand businesses reviewing their current documents
  • International employers with New Zealand employees
  • Overseas HR and People Operations teams
  • Employer-of-record and global employment service providers

How it works

From first enquiry
to practical next steps.

  1. 01

    Outline your requirements

Tell us about the organisation, document type, approximate page count and any deadline. Please leave confidential documents out of the initial enquiry.

  2. 02

    Confirm the engagement

We check suitability and conflicts, then confirm the scope, fee and terms. Document transfer is arranged if we proceed.

  3. 03

    Receive and discuss the review

The target is seven business days after acceptance and receipt of the required documents. We provide the findings and arrange your 30-minute discussion.

Before you enquire

A few useful details.

Can an overseas employer use this service?

Yes. The review is for New Zealand employment documents, including those used by overseas employers and HR teams with New Zealand operations.

Can I submit a Chinese-language document?

The fixed fee covers one English-language document. Translation is outside the fee unless separately agreed. Written enquiries in Chinese are welcome; interpreter availability for meetings must be confirmed separately.

Does this include a complete rewrite?

No. The package includes proposed wording for up to five significant issues. Full redrafting, additional documents and other work require a separate agreement.

When does the seven-business-day target begin?

After the engagement is accepted and the required documents are received. If you have a particular deadline, tell us in your enquiry so availability can be confirmed.

Should I attach the document to my first enquiry?

Please start with a brief description. Do not send employee records, agreements or other confidential documents in the initial enquiry. Document transfer can be arranged if we proceed.
